Nutritional information for mead?

So I started keeping a food diary at and I've been reasonably successful at logging what I consume, but I've hit a roadblock with my own homebrew. It can't be as simple as entering in the amount of honey and water and everything else that I use and dividing by the number of servings, can it? I mean, fermentation changes sugars into alcohols -- what happens to the caloric value of the sugars? Does fermentation consume calories? What about the solid matter that is often added (fruit, etc) but which is removed before consumption? Inquiring minds want to know.
